Transmitting Healing Information via Energy instead of Talk

As a healer, I am always seeking ways to help people heal and learn how to heal more effectively. My own initial healing journey was a 10-year journey of tremendous emotional upheaval—often daily crying as I released old pain in the form of blocked energy. The New Earth we are co-creating is free of suffering, so this model cannot be perpetuated! And it just plain takes too long: 10 years to become an overall happier person? Yikes.

I need to put the knowledge I have gained into writing, and will do that when the time is right. That will help. But for now, I feel the limitation of speaking words: it requires a fair amount of effort, and sometimes gets no farther than a client’s mind. It also tugs at my tendency to “tell people what to do,” which I have chosen to stop. Increasingly, I have been using spoken words to guide someone to do their own healing work. Even this takes a while, though, and I feel may not be necessary. I think healing can happen much more quickly, and most of it we don’t need to understand or analyze.

So what I am trying now is making the totality of my healing knowledge available–as a specific stash or “book” of energy–to every client who comes. Other healers working with me can add their own to it. It is also connected to the universal “database” of all healing knowledge. During Open Healing Hours, I now have a worksheet that guides people through grounding, centering, and boundary-setting, then tells them how to energetically connect their “inner healer” (healing intelligence) to this database of healing knowledge. It tells them how to drop into a deep state of relaxation for self-healing, so their inner healer can go to work unimpeded by mind, emotions, etc.

This idea came from my own practice. Several years ago, I began to lie down to rest for 20-30 minutes each afternoon. I almost never fall asleep, but have learned to quickly drop myself into a zone of deep relaxation (it feels viscerally like my consciousness going into the center of my body, away from the front of my head, and sometimes I feel a distinct dropping-and-releasing sensation). In this zone, my body goes into automatic healing mode. It starts twitching and moving in ways that either perform a physical adjustment in my body, or move energy. It’s really cool! During this time, I also always ask spirit healers to work on me, and they do if it’s appropriate.

Clearly, if I can create a deep and safe enough healing space that helps others drop into that mode, my job will be much easier. And they will–with practice–be able to do it for themselves whenever they wish. I am finding that if I focus on expanding into my own multi-dimensional energy field (which means my attention must stay at a much deeper level than talking mode), their energy field is able to fall quickly into a deeper healing state. I also put a sort of healing “cocoon” of powerful energy around them. All the elements of this healing process depend tremendously on the healing field I am now able to hold because I’ve come into significant wholeness in my own being. The sense of safety that people feel, which allows them to open to healing, is created by the frequency of love which I am channeling and consciously holding.

Next, I get in touch with their inner healer, most of which in this culture have crawled dejectedly into their inner closet. We do not live in a culture that fosters health: it is always beating us down health-wise, telling us NOT to trust our inner guidance and instincts. What I am seeing is that when the person’s inner healer receives my invitation to revive, and the steady beam of love, belief, and encouragement in its abilities I am sending it, it perks up and springs into action. And because it picks up on my commitment to stick around on Earth for awhile (and help re-create a New Earth), it comes to life more fully and I can tell it will be able to stay active. This is not something I saw happening, or was able to facilitate, even a few months ago, so some things have shifted—no doubt both in me as well as what is possible on planet Earth.

When a client is in this state, I see their inner healer zipping around at lightning speed sometimes, faster than I can even follow consciously.  I also notice that afterwards, both they and I feel more full of joy than we did before. That’s a good sign!

Another related variant of this concept is telepathy. My coworker Henry has been finding that some clients are able to communicate all kinds of significant information telepathically that they might not be able to quite put into words physically.

Emending the Global Reiki Frequency

My co-workers and I have been noticing lately that Reiki energy has been showing up in clients’ space causing negative effects. Yesterday we were working with someone who was a Reiki practitioner and had some awareness about this, so I decided to get to the root of it.

Reiki energy is a specific frequency, and I had seen it in people’s auras as an aqua-blue energy that had a sedating effect, interfering with people’s ability to perceive clearly. Kind of a trade-off for feeling better from the energy’s effect. Of course, I know full well we NEVER have to make trade-offs of our energy or power to receive healing.

So I followed the frequency back to its source. I saw that it was brought by a being from elsewhere in the universe. Where this being came from, this was a dominant energy its civilization used, but on Earth it was new, more advanced, and therefore more powerful. This was sometime in the ‘60s it looked like to me.

It was taught and spread over the planet through a proprietary system, which usually brings control energy on board (ugh). You could perhaps define dark energy as control energy, so this is a big deal.

I saw that the frequency’s effect had gotten blown out of proportion to its innate character, much as I have seen in the energies of invasive plant species. When it arrived on Earth, there were few other similarly high frequencies available to keep the Reiki frequency in balance, so it got out of balance, which is when it began to exercise undue controlling influence in people’s space who received Reiki treatment. The energy got a “big head,” so to speak. It also exercised a dampening effect on the practitioner’s own innate healing abilities, simply because it held their “allegiance” to that one particular frequency.

In the ensuing decades, the “veil” separating Earth from the rest of the universe (and its more advanced energies and life forms) has grown thinner (our perceptive capacity has expanded), so we now have access to, really, an endless number of healing frequencies, some from within Earth and some from without.

I communicated with the source of the Reiki energy. It was lonely here on Earth, and when I offered it the chance to return to its home, it took it. The frequency will still be available on Earth. As with all beings, I connected it to the love frequency to help it evolve at whatever pace it chose. The love frequency simply reminds all beings that they are one with the Source—reminds them of who they truly are.

Reiki energy extends all over the globe now, and is definitely not all bad (see related entry on “dark” forces masquerading as light). So I just sent the love/creation frequency energy out through the whole network. That frequency will redirect all practitioners and recipients of Reiki energy to be able to claim their full healing gifts, with no restriction or control. To step into their true creative capacity, to be fully themselves.

We are past the age when we “needed” gurus and proprietary systems to teach us how to heal. There is most definitely essential protocol in energy healing work, but we don’t need to be controlled; we don’t need to submit our inner knowing to external authorization anymore. We are enough in ourselves, and simply need to let our own gifts shine forth.

The End of the Battle between Light and Dark

Over the last year I have spent a lot of time combating and containing what I call dark beings. These are entities that exist in energy/spirit form, not in body, that have a tremendous affect on us globally. Each of them seems to be associated with a particular nasty pattern, such as victim-consciousness, sexual abuse, the negative feminine, the negative masculine, and so on. These don’t have to be called “dark beings.” Just as we are, these are distinct energy configurations that have gained their own degree of conscious existence. In some instances, they have come from other places in the universe in an attempt to control what happens on Earth (via enslavement and blinding vision); in other instances, our ignorance (= refusal to see clearly) has invited/created them, such as when we bombed Hiroshima, or how we allow slavery to continue. You might say that to the extent we have refused to take deep responsibility for ourselves (every action, thought, and emotion), WE HAVE CREATED THESE MONSTERS which we handily like to blame for things on Earth (For example, Satan, the father/mother archetype, the witch, and so on).

In the last two months, my own personal evolution and understanding (buoyed by the  ascending Earth) has brought me a place where I can see that this planet will never heal as long as we uphold this illusion of duality. If we conceive of what is happening as a battle between light and dark, there is always going to be a loser, and the cycle will endlessly perpetuate: sometimes light will “win” and sometimes “dark.” However, we can choose to open our eyes wider and see that ALL energy is Source energy; every bit of energy is God/Creator. The darkest energies have just forgotten who they are to a more extreme degree (and thus need greater healing).

I knew things had changed when I encountered one of the most powerful dark beings yet a month ago (in someone’s space). When I went to draw my spirit-tools—sword and staff—I couldn’t use them. Instead, I headed straight up to the being and offered it Love. Literally, I connected its heart to the energy frequency of love. Love awakens us; it reminds us that we are connected to all that is, that we are loved, and we are LOVE.

If we want to heal the world, we must not refuse love to anyone. Rather, we must extravagantly scatter love everywhere we go. As some of us raise our energy vibration (consciousness) higher and higher, this is also a good protection from those who would try to drain off our energy to fuel their own systems. Love/Creation/Source energy is abundant and unlimited. We can channel it without having our own energy depleted in any way.

Dark beings always gobble up Love energy. They need fuel to survive, and up ’til now, they have thrived on negative human emotions of fear and chaos (etc.). Turns out there’s a better fuel with a renewable source. Since I’ve switched methods, I’ve never had a single dark entity turn down Love. It doesn’t change them instantly, but it begins a process of transformation that will eventually reunite them with Source–bring them to fuller consciousness. And it gradually gets rid of the “bad guys” on the planet by raising their energy too.

It’s funny: I now feel like I am holding space for all Creation to heal (= come into wholeness), “light” and “dark” alike. And there’s really no difference. The difference is that I’ve lost my fear. How/why have I lost my fear? I’ve come to a place in my journey of understanding/perception where I can see that absolutely nothing can have power over me unless I allow it. I used to know this with my mind; now I live it. Fear blinds, whereas “perfect love drives out fear” as well as blindness. Love seems to be the deepest, truest name for reality—Source energy/God/All that is.

To do this kind of transformational work with dark beings, I do think you have to be in a pretty solid place personally, having reclaimed most of your power and sealed off 99% of your power leaks. At the very least, have a pattern of eagerness to find out and stop any power leaks (which means to think it’s the best thing in the world when someone calls you out on something!). If you are not in such a solid centered place, they can and will push all your buttons—call forth every little nasty pattern you have that you haven’t yet brought into consciousness. And until you reclaim all those patterns, dark beings CAN control you—through your own blind spots. They will reach/work through you to get at others. That’s exactly what they do, that’s all they do. And they only have power as long as you are unwilling to see (yourself) clearly.

So, tread carefully in these waters! But, please, let’s put to rest the “us-them” mentality that has left Earth a war-zone for many millennia. The only true fight is that of self-mastery: consciousness versus refusal to awaken. A good metaphor is sight. Once you see something clearly, it can no longer be of the dark. Your sight brings the light. If you refuse to open your eyes, then yeah, you will stay in the dark. And that is what you will co-create. If you open your eyes, you will grow and grow and grow, until you beam radiance out to the whole universe!

Soothing Touch vs. Sexual Touch

See related post: Why Touch Can Heal, and How Love Factors Into It.

In considering the importance of having more touch in our culture, the question of sexual energy rises. How does one deal with sexual energy that may result from touch among adults or teens?

Sexual touch needs to be acknowledged as a separate kind of touch. Fortunately, we have some choice in how we channel our sexual energy. Sexual energy is a wonderful healing force, so it should be honored, not ignored or subconsciously projected. If sexual energy rises during a friendly back rub, for example, a good step is to pause and verbally acknowledge it (“I’m feeling attraction to you”). Then both people can decide if they want to continue or not. They could decide to shift into a mode of sexual touch.

It is also possible to let sexual energy rise in oneself without channeling it toward the other person. It does not need to be attached to them, even if they were the impetus. Another way of saying this: your sexual energy is your own responsibility, not another person’s. Check their receptivity before sending it their way. It is possible to feel the difference energetically when you are allowing sexual energy to flow through your hands into another person, versus keeping it in check to be able to offer non-sexual touch.

If this is a significant challenge for someone, they might opt to exchange healing touch only with people they are not attracted to until they get a better handle on how to deal honestly and proactively with attraction. Similarly, one should never accept touch from someone who “creeps” them out: this probably just means that person is projecting sexual energy at them without taking responsibility for it or respecting their boundaries. Call them out on it! There’s nothing as effective in stopping subconscious behaviors as yanking them into the spotlight of consciousness. Just naming what is going on will often serve to curb the behavior. If you just silence your discomfort instead, you do the “creep” (male or female!) a great disservice spiritually. Give them a chance to take responsibility for their behavior.

Why Touch Can Heal, and How Love Factors Into It

As my energy healing work has developed, I find that I am less frequently moving energy in a client’s aura. Increasingly, I have shifted into holding deep, safe space for their bodies and spirits. What this allows is the body’s natural healing system (what I often term the “inner healer”) to kick in. I do a fair amount of work inviting the inner healer to get to work. The invitation works because I am holding safe space for the body and spirit.

What I have come to believe from observation is that the body is not particularly interested in healing itself if it does not feel that it will get the love and care it needs to sustain a healing. To get to the root of an issue, then, we must listen to the spirit also and take a look at the energy field to find the underlying blockage that is causing the physical or emotional problem.

At this moment in our culture, most of the work I do is crisis work, trying to get people back to a healthy baseline. Let’s imagine a world in which societal systems support complete health of body, mind, spirit, and psyche—in which our systems could maintain themselves indefinitely just by our built-in healing capacity.

One of the essential tools to maintain health in this ideal society would simply be touch. To explain why, it is necessary to understand our basic needs. Our bodies and spirits are both somewhat like children in their outlook. If they are threatened or neglected, they respond as children would. Our bodies and spirits do not have the “whole picture” of a situation. They need the same kind of care a child needs. They let us know their needs via emotions. Our minds can then choose to heed the emotions and respond, just as we would when a baby cries for out attention.

So, just as touch is essential in comforting a child, so it is essential in comforting adults and teens, because our bodies and spirits don’t exactly “grow up.” I can imagine a civilization in which excellent care is taken of bodies and spirits, and this would result in bodies and spirits functioning far beyond what we now expect of them. But let’s stay in present reality. Many of us have a deep and painful deficit of touch from childhood, when we didn’t get as much comforting, soothing touch as we needed. Those of us in this category need intensive amounts of healing touch (and I mean touch offered in genuine love, which can be different than “professional” touch)—perhaps for several weeks, or even several months. Once we fill up the gaping hole from that deficit, we will then need less for ongoing maintenance.

To understand the significance of touch, we must also understand the relationship between spirit and body in healing. This gets into triage (determining priority of healing). The body’s needs really should be met immediately. If the body is in crisis, everything else should be dropped to take care of the body. When the spirit is in crisis, you’ve got a little more time. You can negotiate with your spirit. For example, if you are in a job that is “killing” your spirit, as long as you HEAR what your spirit is telling you (“Get out of this job!”), you can buy some time. You can take steps toward leaving the job; you can even bargain with your spirit (“Ok, I need to stay in this job for one more year; what can I do to offset its toll on you?”) But then you’ve got to follow through and really make the change your spirit needs.

The spirit feels responsible for the body. It serves to protect the body. If someone is in the midst of chronic medical crisis, their spirit is probably completely exhausted. I’ve had clients with cancer lie on my table, and as soon as I let their spirit know that I will receive responsibility for body-care for the hour, their spirit falls into deep rejuvenating “sleep.” (One contributor to their crisis is the toll exacted on the spirit by the medical system’s lack of love.) So, if the body is in crisis, you can bet the spirit will be as well if the body is not tended.

Inversely, as for the body, it will “bleed out” anywhere the spirit is suffering. You cannot heal the body without healing the spirit. Thus our medical system is not particularly effective in the long-run, to the extent that people often feel worse emotionally and spiritually in leaving the hospital than when they arrived.

Healers have a remarkable opportunity to heal the spirit as well as the body. It is rather stunning that this is so purposely avoided in our medical system. Professional medical “ethics” serve to keep healers removed from their clients: to withhold what their clients’ spirits need as much as medicine or surgery: LOVE. Genuine, unconditional, no-strings-attached love.

What healing touch does for the body is that it makes it feel SAFE. Touch lets the body know that it is receiving care, which helps it relax. When it relaxes, then healing energy at least has the chance to flow. Added to that, what makes the spirit feel safe is freely-offered, unconditional love. So if you put these two together—loving touch—then you’ve got a shot at actual healing. When the body and spirit feel completely safe, the body will begin to heal itself.

Therefore any of us can aid each other’s healing processes tremendously by simply offering touch. Fortunately we don’t have to wait for an ideal society to implement this tool. At any informal social gatherings among friends and family, there can be an exchange of touch happening. Maybe someone needs a back rub. Maybe someone needs to be held or rocked for 10 minutes (yes, including adults). Maybe someone needs to hold hands. Maybe someone needs their hair brushed or stroked. Just sitting with your arm around someone gives significant comfort and a sense of belonging.

What goes around comes around: offering touch can be as wonderful as receiving touch. It really should not be a one-way relationship; attention should be given so that everyone is getting and giving touch over, say, the course of a week or even a long evening. The more we learn to listen to our bodies and spirits, the easier it will get to know what kind of touch we need, and to be able to ask for it specifically. We may also get better at sensing when someone else needs touch even before they ask, and offering.

A Workshop with Steve Schumacher

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a workshop Steve Shumacher, of Louisville, KY, offered here in Berea. Steve is a healer and teacher, and was presenting on the Visionary Craniosacral method.  Steve’s words, presence, and knowledge were profoundly helpful. The room was full of 20-30 healers from Berea, Richmond, and Lexington, as well, which was wonderful.

Here are my notes from the workshop. My questions and thoughts are in italics. Everything else is from Steve.

  • Even though a traumatic event is physically over, its force may still be at work in the body/energy system. The way Steve talks about force and interior fulcrums is the way I talk about “blocked energy.”
  • One of my rising recent questions: If the root of a physical problem is healed, how much can the body physically regenerate?
  • Steve offered a typical story in which someone takes a hard fall, then gets up, grits their teeth and goes on. Years later, that weakness/fulcrum/blocked energy makes their back go out. I believe that if we learned to pay close attention to our bodies and spirits in every moment, in a situation like this, they would tell us exactly what to do to heal (i.e. move a certain way, rest a certain amount of time, etc.). Healers are great for this, but ultimately, each person’s body adn spirit know exactly how to heal. in my healing work, I am accessing that innate knowledge. It comes back to awakening “intuition” or the “inner guide,” as Quakers say.
  • Steve asked his teacher Hugh Milne about how to deal with “professional patients.” His teacher responded, “Joy,” and explained that if the healer’s heart is full of joy (open) there are no dark places for the patient to lock into, mirroring the patient’s own dark places. The patient will either heal or go away. The warning flag  is feeling judgmental. (I run into this in myself) He speaks of not having the “purity” to heal as Christ did, to see what is healthy and right in a system rather than what is wrong.
  • In his work, a really healthy patient’s field feels like “air,” as if the body “disappears.”
  • When space expands, time slows down. When space compresses, time speeds up. Problems are from a lack of space.
  • The cranial wave, fluid tide, and long tide may be found in all life forms (and the physical rhythms of the earth). This makes perfect sense, because the earth is alive, and is one organism. I think this is true literally/scientifically, not metaphorically. We are like parts of her body. So these tides are her body’s “fluid” cycles: her emotion(?), her circulation, her breathing.
  • The soul dwells in the fascia (!!)
  • Maybe: Two people are required for the deepest work, one as witness and/or facilitator
  • Steve is offering the patient a presence of “receptivity” and “curiosity.” Steve speaks of a conscious mind, a presence “in the room” with the healer and patient that provides external healing, and a blueprint of healthy function. It will help, if a receptive space is held. I am so curious as to what this actually is energetically.  I think it is not just a spirit being–too limited. Nor “God”/cosmic order. It is a healing consciousness. Maybe it is the Earth’s “Inner Healer.” The divine spark and rightness at the heart of the Earth that is available to all her body parts.

The gem of wisdom that really lit me up, and is no doubt WHY I was there is related to the notion of a healer listening for what is right and healthy in a person’s system, and that if one could do that, the whole system might instantaneously heal. Because that “spark” in a person holds the blueprint (like a holograph?) for the whole system’s perfect, birthright function.

This is seeing/touching the divine spark in a person. I believe that the root of all suffering on earth is that we have forgotten who we really are: we are part of the great organism/life system that is the Earth, and it is all sacred, because it is all imbued with spirit. We each are a unique spark of the divine. Our uniqueness is important, and so is our interconnectedness. So it makes great sense to me that if a healer gets in touch with that place of divinity/wholeness in a person, and serves as witness (holding space, holding up a mirror), he/she is simply helping the person remember who they really are. All the false notions and beliefs can fall away. After all, isn’t original “sin” perhaps the belief that we are separate from God, and thus alone.

This is the awakening happening on the planet right now. It is the remembrance of who we are: consciousness. The return of the feminine metaphorically. But really what the feminine symbolizes is spirit, the inner way, yin.

Thank you Steve and the other healers present at this profound afternoon!

Healing Energy Frequencies

One of the most fascinating parts of this work is that I am discovering there are a perhaps endless number of healing energies that may be accessed. Some of them are familiar to me (I need to start a list!), but every week I receive new ones. It is always clear to me what energy to use, and sometimes I can tell that I need to access a new one. So I send up the request, and hold out my hand to receive it.

The other day, I was working on reducing the swelling in an injured knee. I asked for an anti-inflammatory energy, and was connected to a soft, “foggy” grey energy. I surrounded the knee with it (in a containment sphere), and kept it there for the hour. When she left, I gave the energy instructions to dissipate over the course of the next day. She emailed me the following evening to say the swelling was completely gone.

Some of these energies are from places throughout the universe, and some are from within the earth. I usually see them as different colors, but I am sure they are simply particular frequencies of energy. Clearly, different body parts need different healing frequencies. It is my theory, based on information I have been given in spirit, that particular cosmic energies went into the formation of each body system. For example, white light energy (and beings!) have been highly influential in the evolution of our minds over the past 2000 years (the rise of the masculine principle, law and order, abstract thinking, etc.) Whereas there is a particular iridescent silver energy that is useful in healing the nervous system and has contributed to the development of our nervous system (though has been in the shadow for awhile, thus our out-of-date and underdeveloped nervous systems).

Lately I have been working a lot with what seems to be fourth dimension healing energy (see picture above: white full spectrum light, so full of rainbow colors) and a high frequency iridescent gold, which seems to be from the fifth dimension.

Spirit Helpers in Healing

I find that during a healing session, there are usually quite a few spirit helpers in the room. Some of them seem to be in training, while others can provide active assistance to what I–and the client’s inner healer–are doing. I frequently ask spirits to perform energy surgery so that I can continue holding space for the client’s body. Or vice versa. There are some energy healing procedures that I either cannot do myself, or it would take too long to be worth it. In those cases, I just turn the healing process over to spirits who can carry it out.

The other day, I had a client who had somehow been filling herself with what I have heard called “liquid Christos energy.” I know what it looks and feels like, and this term seemed to fit. She is a powerful healer, though she has forgotten it in this lifetime. She also intuitively knew to start taking chlorophyll as a supplement, which I believe opened her to this powerful healing energy, newly available to us on this planet, as I understand it. I just followed along to help her inner healer during this session, who had kicked into high gear. At one point, the spirit helpers took her into a chamber in which she could be immersed in this Christos energy (creamy white light, denser than most healing energies I work with). They said it was the first time this procedure had been conducted on earth.

In addition to energy surgery, I also allow clients in need of deep physical rejuvenation to sink into the arms of the goddess, mother earth, surrounded by green healing energy, asleep in her cave on a healing table. The energy of the place does the work there, not spirits.

Holding Space

Often my sessions will start with simply holding healing space for the client. They are in deep need of physical and spiritual rejuvenation. Especially the worse the malady, their spirits have often been working overtime to hold space for their bodies. I place my hands on the body to give it comfort and know someone else is taking responsibility for its care for this hour. Often their spirit will then fall into deep rejuvenating sleep, sometimes then attended by healing spirits. This usually needs about 5-10 minutes. During this time, I feel that I am holding a space of complete love and acceptance.

Inner Healer

I tend to think in terms of different aspects/layers of the self as distinct personas; it makes the work and explanation of the work so much easier. In every session my goal is to activate the client’s inner healer, who knows exactly what needs to happen to heal. My work is to remove the obstacles that are preventing the inner healer from getting to work. This often seems to be caused by mistaken beliefs about the self, past life traumas, missing information . . . (more to be added).
